23.B. CAPTAIN EDWARD BUCHWALTER – Born 1841. Died 1933. Served under General Shurman and also Gen. Grant. President of Citizen’s National Bank and also Superior Drill Company. Section O.

24.B. CHARLES A. CREGAR – Born 1858. Died 1896. Architect involved in designing the City Building, St John’s Evangelical Church, Clark County Court House and several others. Section L.

25.B. HEZEKIAH GEIGER – Born 1820. Died 1899. One of the founders of Wittenberg College. Section L.

26.B. BRADLEY KINCAID - Born 1895. Died 1989. Accomplished musician, member of Country Music Association. Owner of Kincaid’s Music and Audio. Section 28.

29.B. HARRY TURNER – Born 1903. Died 2000. Wallace-Turner Incorporated, Cincinnati Financial Corporation. Quiet contributor to many charitable causes. Section X.

30.B. RALPH DAVIS – Born 1898. Died 1978. Founded Eagle Tool and Machine company. Section X.

31.B. JEROME UHL – Born 1841. Died 1916. World known accomplished Artist. Painted portraits of locals, Phineas Mast, Govrn. Bushnell, Sam Studebaker. Section H.

32.B. ARTHUR ALESHIRE – Born 1900. Died 1940. Politically motivated main focus was dealing with labor and farm. Member of the House Census Committee. Section U.

33.B. WILLIAM R. BURNETT – Born 1846. Died 1928. Held many public offices, Elected mayor of Springfield three times. Section P.

34.B. MARGARET E. BAKER – Born 1896. Died 1986. Accomplished actress and film maker. Pres & Treas. Of Champion Company. Section P.

35.B. CARLETON F. DAVIDSON – Born 1894. Died 1993. Mayor in 1954. He was involved with Community Hospital, Y.M.C.A., M&M Savings, Lions Club, St Andrews Lodge. Funded C.D. Baseball Stadium and several other facilities. Section O.

36.B. GEORGE GAMMON – Born 1803. Died 1904. African American conductors of the Underground Railroad. Section F.

37.B. MERLIN G. ROBERTSON – Born 1896. Died 1985. Founded Dayton Yellow Cab Co. Pres of Robertson Can Co. contributed to many city organizations. Section O.

38.B. GEORGE W. CLEMANS – Born 1855. Died 1864. First burial in Ferncliff Cemetery. Section A.

39.B. MICHAEL H. CHAKERES – Born 1912. Died 2002. Pres. And Board chairman of Chakeres Theatres and Lobby Shoppe, received the 2000 Ellis Island Medal of Honor, served on many B of Directors including The Foundation of Motion Pictures Pioneers.
