Choosing the type of Burial
First you will decide on the type of burial:
- Full body placed either in a Grave or Mausoleum
- Cremation placed either in a Niche or Grave
- Cremation Garden
Selection of Lots
Then you will need to decide on a Lot or Mausoleum
- The choices are either Flat Marker or Monument Size Lots. As you use our sales tool you will be able to determine which sections allow which type of marker.
- The second choice you will make is the section of Ferncliff you find most appropriate to your needs. There are many beautiful areas to choose from on our grounds.
- You may also choose from one of our Mausoleums
Selection of Vaults
Like most products, quality and features determine price. Ferncliff can provide vaults at a reasonable cost to our lot owners. The following is a list of factors that determine the value of a particular vault over another. When purchasing a vault you should decide which of these items are most important to you.
- Wall and lid thickness
- Type of reinforcement
- Sealing capability of lid
- Type of liner (if any)
Burial Selection
At Ferncliff Cemetery you have a choice of burial options. You will make the selection that best fits you or your family members needs.
- Full Body with casket –In ground
- Cremation with Service –In ground
- Cremation with no Service –In ground
- Cremation Garden –Scattering
- Entombment –Mausoleum Crypt
- Inurnment –Mausoleum Niche
Marker or Monument Selection
Finally you will need to choose a marker. There is a wide variety to choose from.
- Flat Marker Single
- Flat Marker Companion
- Monument style Markers for Companion and Family Graves
- You will also need to purchase a foundation for the marker you choose
