As Ferncliff responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, funeral homes, and families we serve remains our highest priority. The work we do is critical to the residents of our community, and we are committed to being available to support the families and community, as needed. In following the guidelines of the CDC, industry associations, and our government’s advice and counsel, we have made the decision to close our office to the public effective Monday, March 23. We will maintain burials that are required at the time of need, (at-need only services). This is an evolving and changing situation where developments occur rapidly, and we will communicate any changes to you as promptly as those decisions are made.
We hope to be able to return to normal operations as soon as it is deemed appropriate to do so. At this time, effective Monday, March 23, 2020, the following policies and procedures are in place:
- Our office will be closed to the general public. There will be an answering service or a staff member answering the phones. The telephone number remains the same: 937-322-3491.
- We recognize the importance of access to the cemetery. As a tranquil, beautiful space, there will be members of the community walking, reflecting, and visiting gravesites. Accordingly, the gates will remain open from 7:30 AM to 6:00PM to support this need.
- If this is regarding a payment, please mail checks to 501 W. McCreight Ave, Springfield, OH 45504, or you can call to make a payment over the phone. Any other issues, such as work orders, pre-arrangements, markers/foundations or other questions, please email us at email@example.com
