Ima Jean will be greatly missed in the Smith Family. What a special cousin. Dad called her every thursday afternoon till his passing at 94 over eight years ago. Our dads were so much alike and Jean felt like talking to dad was like talking to her own dad. Always liked seeing how dad connected with his oldest brothers children. They would tell me, he is just like talking to our dad who has been in heaven for years. So nice! Jean carried on our Smith family reunions that were started in 1988. So many of our family have gone to heaven now so it is so much harder to get eveyone together but Jean was faithful even last year I believe. Loved hearing Jean tell about the advice that Aunt Dorothy Scott told Jean about Uncle David when he died and Jean took that advice and her daddy was a glow with the Glory of God. Now that was a story! Jean was the caretaker of her father. What a lady. Can’t wait to get to heaven to see her!
