Springfield, Ohio — Dec. 29, 2025— Shelley J. Baker, Executive Director of Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Ohio Cemetery Association (OCA), a statewide organization representing cemetery professionals. OCA’s purpose is to increase knowledge in the development, operation, and maintenance of Ohio’s cemeteries and to encourage high moral and ethical standards.

The Ohio Cemetery Association serves as a resource for cemeteries across the state, providing leadership, legislative advocacy, professional development, and guidance on evolving trends within the death care industry. As a member of the Board, Baker will contribute her experience in cemetery operations, long-range planning, historic preservation, and community engagement.
