Bradley Kincaid was well known locally as the owner of Kincaid's Music Store. But he was also a pioneer radio entertainer, balladeer and composer of folk and country music, recording more than 150 songs during his career. His radio days began in 1924, billed as "Bradley Kincaid and His Hound Dog Guitar." His ballads about the heritage of Appalachian mountain families were a huge success.

Bradley moved to Springfield in 1950 from Nashville to purchase and manage a local radio station. After selling the station, he purchased Morrellis Music Store, naming it Kincaid's Music and Audio. A long-time member of the Country Music Association, he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Foundation hall of fame in 1971.

Bradley Kincaid lived to age 94, enjoying giving the joy of music to others.

Bradley Kincaid is interred in Section 28 of Ferncliff Cemetery.
