Cremation Property Options
Adornments are any decorations or items placed on or around a burial space. Ferncliff regulates all adornments to maintain the beautification of the cemetery grounds, while ensuring a safe environment for maintenance.
Niche Garden and Creekside Columbarium
As cremation becomes an increasingly popular choice, many families are drawn to Ferncliff for permanent placement of their loved one’s urn.
Our Creekside Columbarium is located at the south end of the cemetery, nestled in a beautiful, natural setting surrounded by the serenity of trees, lakes, and wildlife.
The Niche Garden, located just inside our main gate, allows families to enjoy a quiet time of reflection, while listening to the sounds from the beautiful, tranquil fountain. Each niche includes a bronze memorial nameplate and is designed to accommodate two standard-size urns. Select niches are available that can accommodate up to four urns.

Individual Niche Columbarium
An individual columbarium is a unit that typically holds anywhere from two to four niches where urns with cremated remains are laid to rest. Each individual niche measures 12” x 12” x 12” and will accommodate two standard size urns. Families often elect to place a single urn in each niche offering a unique opportunity for a more customizable and personal memorialization within the niches.

Scattering Garden
Our Scattering Garden offers a peaceful and natural setting for the dignified release of cremated remains. Surrounded by thoughtfully landscaped beauty it’s a serene garden for reflection and remembrance. The garden features four granite memorial walls including bronze name plates of those resting within. This meaningful option is not only beautiful but also is one of our more affordable choices for honoring a loved one.

Above-ground Cremation Memorials
Ferncliff offers a wide variety of above-ground cremation options allowing you to integrate a memorial with your, or a loved one’s, resting place.
These include:
- Cremation Pedestals: A granite block that supports a decorative top.
- Cremation Pillars: An elegant option made from granite and engraved as desired.
- Cremation Benches: Carved from granite and customizable.
Each of these memorial options can be personalized with a wide array of granite colors, design styles, and custom engraving. Pedestals, pillars and benches are designed to accommodate cremated remains inside of the memorial.

In-Ground Cremation Memorials
Our Cremation Memorials are the perfect option for those who would like to combine their memorial with the space for cremated remains.
Cremation Memorials feature classic bronze designs, including oxide-finished lettering on a brown background with leather texture. Your loved one’s cremated remains are carefully placed in the in-ground cremation vessel which is securely sealed with a rubberized gasket between two bronze plates.
You can also personalize the Cremation Memorial with an emblem and up to five words of endearment. You can choose a single or companion design, with or without vase. This is a popular choice to provide a lasting tribute for yourself or a loved one.

Traditional Burial Property Options
Our monumental lots are the most traditional option for an interment space. These lots can accommodate multiple family members, and have room for customized monuments.

Flat Marker Grave Space
Flat grave marker spaces can be selected for one, two or more persons. Marked with either single or companion flat markers, these spaces are an excellent choice for an individual or couple on a budget, or a larger family desiring multiple spaces for all. Flat marker spaces are available in many areas of Ferncliff Cemetery.

Private Mausoleums
While our community mausoleums are no longer available at Ferncliff, we do still offer options for above ground interment in a single or companion private mausoleum. Located in select areas of the cemetery, a private mausoleum is a vault that is above ground and free-standing and holds the remains of the deceased in a casket.

Veterans Section
Thank you to all of our past and present armed service men and women for their dedication to keeping our country safe. Burial in our Veteran’s Sections requires that you or your loved one be a resident of Clark County, be approved through the Clark County Veterans Office, and have an honorable discharge. Burial spaces in our veterans sections are provided to the veteran at no charge by our Veterans Service Commission of Clark County. Government issued veteran's markers are also available free of charge. Other charges apply.
