Using the search bar below you may type the name you are searching for (for example, “John Miller”), or combine any of the following keywords for your search:
first: First Name – Search by first name.
last: Last Name – Search by last name.
middle: Middle Name – Search by middle name.
born: Year – Search by year of birth.
died: Year – Search by year of death.
landmark: Name – Search for landmarks with a given name.
An example of combined keywords would be “last: Smith born: 1905” which would find all with the last name of Smith that were born in 1905.
4How do I upload memories to a loved one’s page?
1: Click the "share a memory" on your loved one's Remember My Journey page.
2: You may type a message, add photos or link to a video.
3: Provide your name and connection to the loved one and accept the terms of use.

5What are your gate hours?
McCreight Street Gate Hours:
Summer Hours when Daylight Saving Time begins 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Winter Hours when Daylight Saving Time ends 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Plum Street Gates Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
6 Where can I park?
Most of our visitors park on the paved roads within our grounds. We ask that you pull to the curb to allow other cars room to pass. Please try to avoid parking on the grass.
There are dedicated parking spots at Ferncliff near the office, by the pet cemetery and by the former superintendent’s house on Plum Street.
For large events, parking attendants will be available.
7What’s the most respectful way to walk through the cemetery?
It’s a common misconception that you cannot walk on the grounds above a burial site. We ask all visitors to tread respectfully on the grassy areas within our cemetery. Do not walk on grave markers, do not touch or remove items from monuments on gravesites.

Ferncliff Funeral Home permanently ceased operations as of August 31, 2022. Archived obituaries can still be accessed here.
10What is the “Ferncliff Fence?”
The infamous fence alongside McCreight Avenue at Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum has been struck 50+ times since 2018. We’re working with local government officials to find solutions to prevent these accidents, and you can follow along here.
11Do you offer marker and monument design services?
Yes. We work with excellent craftsmen to offer a variety of markers and monuments. Learn more about our options here.
12Is there a discount for Veterans?
The cost of the burial space is covered for veterans interred in veterans sections at Ferncliff Cemetery. Contact us for more information.
13How do you honor service animals?
Service animals receive free burial in our Whispering Memories
Pet Haven with proof of service.
