Ferncliff Cemetery Civil War Interred Colored Troops Monument Installation 5/19/2020

The dedication of the United States Colored Troops Memorial monument has been postponed until further notice. This monument was installed here at Ferncliff in April in the Civil War (GAR) mound in the center of the cemetery. We wanted to go ahead and share two videos that were made – one showing the installation of the monument and one showing the memorial itself. We hope you enjoy and we’ll be sure to let you know when the dedication ceremony has been rescheduled.
