Age 80, of Springfield, Ohio passed away at 2:43 PM on Monday, May 4, 2020.  He is the son of Donald and Mildred (Lane) Brewington who both preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Rebecca and 3 brothers: Donnie, Gerald “Jerry” and Gene.

A graduate of Kingman High School, he attended The Ohio State University before enlisting in the US Air Force.  Benjamin served 2 tours in the Philippines repairing aircraft during Vietnam.  He later retired from Navistar in Springfield.  He had an avid love for children, animals and donated often to their causes.  He also enjoyed repairing and assembling computers as well as working with models.

He is survived by 3 sons: Camron (and Mary) of Van Wert, Ohio, Christopher “Shane” also of Van Wert and Brian Hunt of Sevierville, Tennessee; 2 daughters: Cynthia (and Ralph) Schnepp of Greensburg, Kentucky and Clavon (and Chris) Mees of DeGraff, Ohio.  A sister, Sue Brewington also survives, as well as 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A funeral service is pending with Ferncliff Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio.  Burial will take place at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington, Ohio.
