Springfield Burying Ground Dedication Ceremony
The important and respectful work of restoring The Springfield Burying Ground has concluded. This community-based initiative would not have been possible without the generous gifts and thoughtful work of The Springfield Burying Ground Founding Members and the numerous community partners and individuals.
Saturday, May 27, 2023, a ceremony was held to dedicate this sacred place of rest for the pioneers who settled and established our City of Springfield. In attendance were many descendants of the souls resting eternally.
