GARMOE, Dean Harold, age 74, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Friday, August 16^th, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.

He is the son of Don H. and Janet (Williams) Garmoe who preceded him in death.  He served honorably in the United States Navy for two years where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with three bronze stars and Fleet Marine Force insignia.  Mr. Garmoe was employed by Swift Trucking Company as a Safety Manager.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Constance (Paterson) Garmoe; two sons: Robert Garmoe of Desoto, Missouri and James (wife Shelly) Garmoe of Springfield, Ohio.  Two sisters: Kathy (husband Layton) Hoel of Rockford, Illinois and Holly (husband Tom) Schmidt of Rockford, Illinois; five grandchildren: Kelsie, Amanda, Victoria, Nicholas and Kysa also survive.
